Due to limited availability, pre-registration for the BCLA UK event(s) is mandatory. You can add a workshop to your booking at anytime, subject to availability. Workshops are FREE but you will need to make an online reservation at the time of booking the event and you must have booked an appropriate package for the day of your workshop in order to attend. The programme at the Birmingham and London venues will be the same, so you only need to book for ONE event based on your location. Please find instructions on how to register, below. The Optical Assistant Course will run alongside the BCLA UK event as a separate track. Email us Step 2: Once logged in, navigate back to this page and select orange 'Register Myself' button Step 3: Select ONE registration option. Step 4: Answer the mandatory questions and click the orange 'save responses' button when complete. Step 5: Scroll down to the 'program items' section and add the workshops sessions that you would like to attend (subject to availability at time of booking). Step 6: Click on the orange 'Proceed to checkout' button, at the bottom right hand side of the page. This will take you to your shopping cart. If you are a member, your selected package price will appear as £99.00 +VAT or at £199 +VAT if you are not a BCLA member. Step 7: Enter your payment details, then click the orange 'Submit Order' button. That's it - you're done! You will receive an auto confirmation email in your inbox, please keep a copy safe for future reference. To view, download and print a copy of your booking receipt, please go to your BCLA profile accessible by clicking the 'HI, YOUR NAME' link at the top of the BCLA web page when logged in, then click the "Print Invoice and Receipts" tab. Please be advised that if you book a workshop session, the program item will not appear on your order confirmation. This is because there is no cost associated to workshop sessions. If you wish to double check that you have been successfully booked on to a workshop session, just revisit the BCLA UK registration page and look for the yellow "in itinerary" button next to your chosen program item. You have the ability to remove a workshop item from your booking at any time, if you no longer wish to attend. Important Notice: - Registration for the BCLA UK event in Birmingham is CLOSED - Online pre-registration for the BCLA UK event in London will close on Saturday 9 June at 14:00 GMT. If you wish to attend the London event but have not registered by this time, then please do not attempt to book online as there will be availability for you to register onsite at the BCLA Registration Desk from 08:45AM in the Riverside Room (Level 3) of the IET Savoy Place venue. - Plan your journey to BCLA UK London (note that there is no onsite car parking.
