BCLA Webinar: Contact Lens Practice in the Time of COVID-19

Presenters: Dr Shehzad Naroo and Dr Fabrizio Zeri

The year 2020 will be remembered as the year the world was held to ransom by the coronavirus and the severe acute respiratory syndrome that it causes known as COVID-19. Many parts of the world went into lockdown to prevent the transmission of this disease, which for some could be fatal. Most contact lens practitioners offered an emergency only service during this time – but what does that actually mean? Furthermore, what precautions should practitioners take and what advice should they give their patients?
