Did you know that many common mistakes and misconceptions routinely take place in contact lens practice?

BCLA UK, the all-new event coming to The Belfry next month, will be staging its very own contact lens practice version of Room 101 – giving you the chance to listen and learn whilst a panel of experts air their grumbles in the hope that they get consigned to oblivion.

Hosted by Lyndon Jones (pictured), who is jetting in from Canada to present the show, BCLA’s Room 101 will feature an all-star line-up containing some of the most respected names in optometry, revealing their pet hates about common mistakes made in contact lens practice.

Sarah Morgan, Nick Howard and Carole Maldonado-Codina will pick some routine mistakes which regularly take place in contact lens fitting as well as a host of common misconceptions before deciding which need consigning to the history books.

Room 101 will give the audience the chance to hear more about everyday things that practitioners commonly get wrong in contact lens practice and inform delegates in a fun and entertaining format.

Room 101 will be held as part of a series of CET lectures and workshops during BCLA UK on June 12 and 13. The event is aimed at boosting eye care professionals’ confidence with contact lenses and maximising the potential of both themselves and their practice.
