Once you are logged in, go to the 'Events' drop down menu located at the top of the BCLA homepage and click 'BCLA Webinar Registration'. The registration page will only be displayed and visible to logged in BCLA members. 

Step 3: Click the blue 'Register Here' button. Clicking on the link will redirect you to a 3rd party website - Perceptive Medical Education - who will manage your registration for this webinar session. You will be required to opt in your consent in order to complete your registration and to receive relevant information about the webinar only, including the access link for the online session.


PRESENTATION 
Scleral lenses are booming in popularity and can improve the lives of patients and transform your practice. This course will cover a brief history of scleral lenses, then dive into scleral lens indications, fitting, evaluation and after-care. Tips and tricks for scleral lens handling will be reviewed. Your questions will be answered as Dr. Barnett delves into the art and science of scleral lenses.


PRESENTER
Dr. Melissa Barnett is a principal optometrist at the University of California, Davis Eye Center in Sacramento and Davis, California. She is an internationally recognized key opinion leader, specializing in dry eye disease and specialty contact lenses. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Fellow of the British Contact Lens Association and serves on multiple Boards. Dr. Barnett is Past President of The Scleral Lens Education Society.

This session has been approved for 1 interactive CET point (C-75119) in the following competencies:

Optometrists: Contact Lenses, Ocular Examination
Dispensing Opticians: Contact Lenses, Ocular Examination
Contact Lens Opticians: Contact Lenses, Ocular Examination

You will be asked to submit your GOC number at time of registration. You must then complete all the MCQ's during the webinar session to receive any applicable CET points. Please allow up to 10 days from the date of the webinar to receive your CET points.
