Young UK Contact Lens Practitioner of the Year Award

The BCLA is looking for the next generation of Contact Lens Eye Care Professional who embraces the technology and innovation available to them, to ensure the best visual and eye health outcome for their patients.

The BCLA Young UK Contact Lens Practitioner Award will be given to an individual working in practice, just starting out in their career. It is aimed to honour and recognise the work of an Eye Care Professional who has been qualified for no more than 5 years’ operating within the field of contact lenses. 

Nominees must demonstrate an obvious passion for working with contact lenses and contact lens wearers and must be able to demonstrate that they work with and embrace the latest innovations in the field of contact lenses and deliver the best visual and ocular health focused outcomes for their patients. 

Any member of the BCLA may nominate any person they feel is qualified for the award.
