Many nationalities are eligible for visa exemption when travelling to Japan. However, in addition to a valid passport, some foreign nationals are required to obtain a visa issued by the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in their country in order to enter Japan.

As visa requirements and application procedures vary depending on nationality and individual circumstances, participants are strongly advised to check the latest information in advance.

The Conference Secretariat is managing invitation letters in response to individual enquiries.

If you require an official invitation letter to support your visa application, please complete the dedicated online request form here.

Participants are also encouraged to make use of Japan’s eVisa service, where applicable.

Presenters who require an Official Invitation Letter for visa application purposes may apply here.

Please note that an Invitation Letter will be issued only to presenters who have completed conference registration.
