BCLA Webinar: Stepping Stones to Speciality Contact Lens Practice: Holding Back The Tears

There has been much bandwidth in recent years, and rightly so, around the improvement of Rigid Gas Permeable materials, resurgence of Scleral lenses, and consequently, the fitting of lenses to complex corneas and ocular surface diseases. However, there can be that danger of: if all you have in your toolbox is a hammer, then every problem starts looking like a nail!

Dr. Samson-Brogan & Keith Tempany invite those of you who have an interest in jumpstarting your Specialty Contact Lens Practice, to help your patients with complex corneas and ocular surface diseases. This webinar aims to guide you on the stepping stones in fitting these miraculous little pieces of plastic. From the basics of understanding how different corneal shapes impacts the vision, to discussing cases on how different types of specialty contact lenses are utilized as a modality to restore functional vision, including enabling your patients with scarred and complex corneas to have a better quality of life by significantly improving their vision.

This webinar is aimed to excite and inform delegates, may you be a novice, an expert, stuck on a certain case, or those who may have started and are concerned at being a one trick pony.

Join us as we explore how to change people’s lives and make miracles happen. If you ever heard about Speciality Contact Lenses, and would like to embark on the journey, then this webinar is for you.
