This a one day course that will provide a unique opportunity to increase confidence in RGP, Multifocal and Toric lens fitting skills, plus offering an introduction to managing Dry Eye. The programme will combine the necessary theory on these topics, as well as providing hands-on experience for fitting lenses in practice. The introduction of product specific sessions for toric and multifocal soft lens fitting proved very popular last year so we want to build on this for 2018. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition to meet with our event sponsors who will be showcasing their latest products to ensure that you know what to fit and when from the range of products available. 

This event has been specifically designed for Trainee Contact Lens Opticians, Pre-Registration Optometrists, Newly Qualified Practitioners and for those individuals who are returning to contact lenses and require a refresher in lens fitting skills. Our objective is to support students prior to their assessments, as well as to offer an opportunity to promote contact lenses as a viable and commercial opportunity in real world practice. 

We welcome BCLA members to attend this event. Non-members are very welcome, however the full registration rate of £35.00 will be payable. Alternatively, you can join as a BCLA member in order to attend this event for free. Please complete your registration as per the steps below.

Step 2: Once logged in, navigate back to this page and select the orange'Register Myself' button 

Step 3: Submit your answers to the mandatory questions that will automatically appear. Click the orange 'Save Responses' button when answered.

Step 4: Click on the orange 'Proceed to Checkout' button, at the bottom right hand side of the page. This will take you to your shopping cart. 

If you are a BCLA member, your package rate will appear as £0.00. If a fee of £35.00 appears in your cart, it means that you do not have a valid membership subscription. Please refer to membership options in step 1.

Step 5: Click the orange 'Submit Order' button. 

That's it - you're done!  You will receive an auto confirmation email in your inbox, please keep a copy safe for future reference. To view, download and print a copy of your booking receipt, please go to your BCLA profile, accessible by clicking the 'HI, YOUR NAME' link at the top of the BCLA web page when logged in, then click the "Print Invoice and Receipts" tab.  Please contact [email protected] if you experience any difficulties with your registration.
